Overview

I led the design effort for a comprehensive design system on a Layer 1 blockchain, integrating it with a Next.js project to create a cohesive user experience across multiple decentralized applications (dApps).

Role

As the lead UI/UX designer, I was responsible for creating and implementing a standardized design system that would unify the user interface across five distinct dApps, including trading platforms, lending/borrowing services, and governance systems.

Challenge

The challenge lay in designing a robust and scalable design system that could accommodate the diverse needs of multiple dApps, while also ensuring consistency and coherence across the entire ecosystem. Additionally, I had to navigate complex product design challenges and establish effective feedback mechanisms to ensure stakeholder engagement.

Solution

I successfully developed and implemented the design system within a four-week period, leveraging Figma to create a unified visual language and integrating it with Next.js. Over the subsequent four months, I designed the foundational versions of all five dApps, demonstrating technical expertise and commitment to quality. Key accomplishments include:
